Pianore is located in Capezzano Pianore, a small village not far from Pietrasanta, a medieval town well known throughout the world for its art and monuments, but also for foundries and various galleries. Their artists and sculptors spend a majority of the year to create their masterpieces or to find the right piece of marble to sculpt. It is not uncommon to meet artists at a local restaurant or a bar, always in a unformal circumstances.

The villa is owned by a very well known American photographer who was a good friend of Picasso. In the basement's library you'll find many books dear to the owner - an amazing collection of biographies of famous figures in the world of cinema, arts and literature. Entering the villa you immediately feel the unique atmosphere created by the strong personality of its owner.
