Villa Chianti

Villa Chianti is a 400 year old Tuscan farmhouse nestled on a 2 hectare estate in the hills of the world renowned Chianti region. The villa has recently been renovated to the highest of luxury standards, with all of the most modern amenities. However, much attention has been dedicated to maintaining the structure’s original character and architectural features. Families and friends can gather here to admire breathtaking Tuscan countryside views, tour the wine region, and day trip to some of Italy’s most popular medieval towns.

The stone walls and beamed ceilings are a traditional envelope for striking modern interiors. In the living room, a sleek sectional is pulled up to an original fireplace surround, and a red Lucite coffee table and striped chair add fun, glamorous touches. The dining room is open and airy, with a large arched window, and the state-of-the-art kitchen pairs stone countertops with glossy red cabinets.

Each of the villa’s five air-conditioned bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom stocked with a hairdryer and toiletries. There are four bedrooms with queen beds, one of which also has a sofa bed. The fifth bedroom has two twin beds as well as a trundle bed. For the smallest guests, baby equipment like a crib, highchair and booster seat is available.

Though Villa Chianti offers the peace and panoramas of a location in rural Chianti, it’s just over a mile from the Pozze di Lecchi restaurant, and about 2 miles from a grocery store, church and town center. You’ll find a train station and the Siena hospital 9 miles away, and it’s a 2-hour drive to the airport.
